It has been in the back of my mind for quite a while now to do something meaningful that people might appreciate.
It’s a different sort of idea with a different sort of value, a sentimental value.
So with Mother’s day approaching and my head spinning with ideas – bang! – it came to me!
What better way to wish your special mum a fantastic Mother’s Day than with something money simply cannot buy, but something that still has enormous value: the gift of love, appreciation and gratitude.
That can only be expressed with words, the words of love!
“Gratitude,” according to philosopher GK Chesterton, “is the highest form of thought, it is happiness doubled by wonder…”
So, feeling grateful but not expressing it would almost be like wrapping a present for someone and not giving it to them.
Why not give your mum the gift of your everlasting love and gratitude for everything she has done for you? From the day you were born and she welcomed you to the world to her continuing guidance, God willing, in late adulthood.
Always offering you a helping hand along the way, always willing to provide advice and assistance when you need it most, always there to care for and love you no matter how young or old, no matter how far or near.
“Thankfulness is only the beginning of gratitude and gratitude its completion,” the philosopher Amiel tells us. “Thankfulness may consist merely of words; gratitude is shown in acts.”
So, why not show your love on this Mother’s Day with both words and a kind gesture, with thankfulness and gratitude in one go.
Showing gratitude is one of the simplest things people can do, yet also the most powerful. For this reason, I decided to dedicate a beautiful poem to all the mothers in the world.
Written with loving sentiment and gratitude, the poem is now available to preview under the Mother’s Day section on my website. It is available in both female and male voice with a beautiful musical background. Simply submit your request on my website, and I’ll send you the video free of charge by email
Treat your mother to a sentimental act of gratitude that she will never forget!
